I know some of you will be disappointed by this entry. Yesterday, I have withdrawn my manuscripts from Fixi. All of them.
I sent the sequel for Kasyaf and proposed a prequel but they requested me to send the three of them, Kasyaf (edited edition), Kasyaf 2 (sequel) and Kasyaf 3 (prequel), suggesting PBAKL next month as the publish date.
Kasyaf 3 was 40% written at that time, and similarly it is now. Kasyaf 2 has been given many slots previously but all were forfeited by the publisher due to some technical reason. I don't know how to bargain with them to publish my book and I did not even discuss or asking questions, or do something to promote my script. I just send and wait as per recommendation. My friend said I have to give a bribery and laughed it off quickly. Really?
I guess the scripts are all as good as rejected.
So, I don't know. Should I stop? Should I look for other publisher? I don't know. One thing I know is my readers are waiting for the sequel and they are mad at me now.

Yes, I'm quite mad with this news. You shouldn't stop and you shouldn't look for other publisher for that Kasyaf story. Please, do something about it. Come on, ada je karya Fixi yang kureng tapi sekurang-kurangnya mesti ada satu standard yang menyebabkan sesuatu manuskrip itu dapat diterbitkan dan dijual oleh Fixi. You should know better because you're one of Fixi's writers. Menulis memang penat, jadi takkan nak biar macam tu je.
saya berada di saudi masuk tahun kedua mmg susah sikit nak berkomunikasi dengan penerbit, apatah lagi fixi menetapkan buku launching dengan author jadi mmg sentiasa missed. insyaAllah bulan 5 saya balik for good, dan boleh start projek untuk terbitkan novel... insyaAllah...
